Advent calendars are often associated with chocolate treats these days, but the original calendars that date back centuries often contained stories for each day of the countdown to Christmas. This calendar doesn't have chocolate (that would be a neat trick for an iPad though), but it does have interactive scenes, stories & poems for each day, numbered in small windows on the main page. From the "Gift of the Magi" to "Silent Night, Holy Night" this calendar has an exciting assortment of stories, songs and poems to make your holiday celebrations brighter. The app itself is solidly made with simple swipe-style page turning and nice sound effects. There is no narration for the stories, but the overall concept of a digital advent calendar makes for a lovely new tradition for modern families.
